Liar lying

A LIAR is lying.

The liar said he was not a liar and that he had never ever lied.

He asked people to trust him when he said he would do something, ignoring all those other times when he did not do the thing he said he would do.

“I promise I will do this thing,” the liar declared.

“I know I’ve said I’d do things before that I haven’t done but this time I really mean it.

“You can definitely trust me to get this done.”

The liar is determined to convince people he is not a liar.

“You can trust me, you really can. I’m not a liar. I’m not lying. I’m going to do the thing and when I do it you’ll see how amazing it is and how incredible I am for doing it.

“This will be the best thing that’s ever happened in history, believe me.”

When asked for more specifics about how the thing would happen, the liar said it would be perfect and beautiful.

“Just you wait. This thing is the best. It’s perfect. It’s beautiful. Really, really the best. It’s better than all the other things put together, times a million.

“But remember, I’m the only one who can make it happen. If you let someone else do it, they’ll screw it up.

“It has to be me. It has to be this. It has to be now.

“Don’t ask why, just trust me.

“Trust me.

“Please trust me.”
